Carolyn Lee Carpenter-Welch, born on January 5, 1960, was embraced by her Savior on February 21, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Carolyn, known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family, will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Preceding Carolyn in death are her beloved son, Shannon Carpenter, her devoted husband, William Welch, her father, Carroll Stapp, and her dear brother Ronald Stapp. Their memories will forever be held close in the hearts of those who loved Carolyn.
Left to carry on her beautiful legacy and to cherish her memory are her loving mother, Virginia Stapp, her cherished children, Ashley Lowery and husband Scott, Miranda Smith and her husband Jason, and Courtney Martin and husband Ryan. Carolyn's siblings, Janie Barker, Gail Sumpter, and Joseph Stapp and wife Wendy, will also continue to honor her memory.
Carolyn's greatest joy in life was her cherished grandchildren, Kayla, Jason, Jalen, Gabby, Emma, Austin, Blakley, Maddox, Parker, and Maverick, who brought immense happiness and fulfillment to her life.
In addition to her devotion to family, Carolyn found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed immersing herself in the pages of a good book, expressing herself through the written word, and nurturing her garden filled with vibrant plants and flowers. Carolyn's compassion extended to her furry friends, as she had a deep love for animals.
Above all else, Carolyn will be remembered as an exceptional mother and grandmother, whose love knew no bounds. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she cherished every moment spent with them, especially her precious grandchildren.
