Arthur Ray McDow passed away on September 14, 2026, in Oklahoma City at the age of 69. He was born on November 13, 1956, in Clinton, Oklahoma.

Arthur will be remembered as a hardworking man who was a mechanic and a true jack of all trades. He had a gift for working with his hands and could work on or fix anything. That practical skill, paired with his easygoing spirit, made him someone others could count on. He also brought joy to those around him with his sense of humor, and he loved cracking jokes with family and friends.

Outside of work, Arthur enjoyed fishing, swimming, and working on cars. More than anything, he cherished spending time with his children and family. Those moments, shared with the people he loved most, were at the heart of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Pearl McDow, and their three children, Arthur Ray McDow Jr., Shawn Dale McDow, and Lawanda Sueann Housley. Along with 8 siblings. He also leaves behind the love and memories he shared with his family, who will hold him close in their hearts and remember his humor, his talents, and the steady presence he brought to their lives.

Arthur was preceded in death by his mother, Chloy Vanhyning, and by his daughter, Alecia Dawn McDow. Their memory remained part of his life and is now joined with his own in the hearts of those who loved them.

A memorial service will be held on September 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Brown's Family Funeral Home, 416 E Broadway, McLoud, Oklahoma 74851.
