Audie Ray Gorgas Jr. entered this life on August 4, 1980 to Audie Gorgas Sr. and Carolyn Gorgas in Charleston, South Carolina. Audie entered into eternal rest on March 9, 2023 at the age of 42.

Audie was an avid outdoorsmen. He was about as country as could be. He loved fishing and sharing his fishing stories. He loved serenading his friends and family to karaoke. Listening and singing Morgan Whallen and Luke Combs to name a few. He loved spending as much time as possible with his kids especially fishing. He loved going to the ocean and traveling. He loved to aggravate and poke fun; especially when it came to his mama. His favorite meal was his mama's meatloaf. He was a big mama's boy and was proud of it.

Preceding Audie in death are his Newsom grandparents and his Gorgas grandparents. Along with his Aunt Nora Newsom, Uncle Robert Hughes, and Uncle Michael Newsom. Left to cherish his memory is his Grandma, Ora Brown. His mother, Carolyn Lorraine Newsom. His father, Audie Ray Gorgas Sr. His sister, Jennifer Ketakeah. The love of his life and the mother of his children Patricia Whitbeck, along with his 11 year old daughter, Brianna Marie Gorgas and his 7 year old son, Braxton Ryan Gorgas. Along with a host of many friends and family.
