Bette Anne Hutchens entered this life on July 30, 1973 to Kenneth and Susan Hutchens in Westerly, Rhode Island. Bette entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2023 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 49.

Bette was devoted to serving God. Following and researching her family genealogy. She was keen on learning and educating herself and others. She loved to sew and was very artistic. She could speak many languages and was interested on learning more. She was an avid reader and enjoyed various genres. She loved capturing life through her lens on her camera.

Preceding Bette in death is her father, Kenneth Hutchens, her grandparents, her 8 uncles, and 5 aunts. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Susan Hutchens, her two brothers, Jeff and wife Keri Hutchens and Gary Hutchens. Her two sisters, Barbara Smith-Johnson and Deanna and husband Braybrey Haines. Along with a host of many nieces, nephews, and friends.
