Billie Jean, as she was affectionately known, would graduate from Carver High in Midland, TX and would later marry Odis Cooper. From their union, they welcomed their daughter, Connie Cooper. Billie Jean went on to marry Garland Robinson, and it was with this union that she would have her second daughter, Garla Robinson. She later moved to Dallas, TX where she became a bus driver for the city of Dallas, a job she loved dearly, being able to meet and greet thousands of passengers over her 20+ years of employment. Billie Jean would return to Midland and later graduate from Odessa College in 1992 with her Certified Nursing Assistant License. She went on to become a well loved housekeeper. In her free time she would love to fish, garden, or run a domino table. Billie Jean was preceded in death by her mother, Stella Marshall, a sister Ruthie Polk, and 2 brothers Donald Ray Polk and James A Polk, and daughter, Connie Cooper Hubert. Billie Jean is survived by a brother, James E (Lei) Jefferson, a daughter, Garla Benjamin, seven grandchildren, Tiana Cooper, Demetrius (Vontrece) Cooper, Angela (Chris) Motley, Damien Cooper, Arthur Cooper, Karl Cooper, Christopher Cooper and 15 precious great-grandchildren.
