Billy E. Howard Sr. was born August 15, 1930 to Harry Emmett and Anna Bell Howard in Leonard, Oklahoma.

Bill died July 22nd, 2024 just a few weeks before his 94th birthday in McLoud, Oklahoma.

Proceeding him in death were his father, Harry, mother Anna, sister Phyliss, brothers Robert (Bob), Harry Jr. (Mike) and grandson Joe Arnold.

Bill outlived many other family members and friends to include wife Doris, mother to Vickie, Connie, and Billy Jr., wife Elaine, mother to Mark and Jayline.

He is survived by wife Juanita Howard of fifteen years, mother to Carolyn, Janet, and John. Bill and Juanita just celebrated their wedding anniversary July 4th of this year.

He also is survived by grandchildren Billy III (BJ), Callie, Kimberly, Pamela, Danny, Roy, and 15 great grandchildren.

Bill led a very diverse and fruitful life, with many accomplishments. He started his first business at the age of 12, a shoeshine stand in one of the few barbershops in Coweta, Oklahoma, where he and his family grew up. He was ordained as a Church of Christ minister in 1962. His sales abilities in the automotive aftermarket followed him throughout his life, including owning and operating several business ventures including his favorite, a fast food restaurant(hamburger joint) Billies Foods, in SW Oklahoma City. His last job before retirement at the age of 75 was an outside sales position with a tire wholesale company in South OKC. He and his grandson BJ enjoyed many opportunities to go on delivery runs throughout the northwestern parts of the state.

He was an accomplished musician, playing the bassoon, oboe and saxophone in his high school band, also enjoying learning and playing the piano later in his adult life. He loved painting, reading, and cooking. With strong encouragement from his wife Juanita, Bill entered his last endeavor, writing and publishing many murder mystery and inspirational books, which he started and the age of 83. His last book, an inspirational book was written and published just a short few months before his passing. He was very good at it.

Bill has touched many lives throughout his long life, and we are all better for it. He will be missed by many. He would not want anyone to be sad, only to know that he is in a much better place with all of his family and friends that were waiting on him to join him in a celebration of his life.

The family would like to give a very very special thanks to all of the Choice hospice nurses that took great care of him in his final weeks of life. He loved each and everyone a great deal. He called them his angels on earth.
