IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Billy Wayne
Williams
October 3, 1955 – June 13, 2024
Billy Wayne was born on October 3, 1955, to Cecil and Dora Bell Williams in McLoud, Oklahoma. Billy graduated from McLoud High School in 1973. After High School, he started the beginning of his career at Demco. A few years later he continued his career at Cooper Cameron. He had a successful career for many years. He was dedicated to his work and the people there and took great joy in both.
Billy married the love of his life, Barbara in 1982. The two were inseparable and known for opening their home to others to create memories they'd never forget.
In 2017, Billy retired and spent his days with his daughter, granddaughters, and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed going to his niece, Marcie's shop for haircuts with his sisters and attending the Cameron monthly retiree breakfast. When he was at home, he enjoyed watching old westerns, never missed an Oklahoma State or Thunder game, and loved caring for his land that he called God's country.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Dora Bell Williams, sister, Rinda Bruno, and his beloved bride, Barbara Williams. He is survived by his sister, Linda Sue Smith, brother, Danny Williams, daughters, Tia Collier, Candi Mumford, and Mandy Womack, grandchildren, Brittany, Paige, and Jordan Collier, Kenna Lee, Travis Mumford, and Lindsay Pickett, great-grandson, Zane, great-granddaughter, Zayla, and many more.
Billy spent his last days continuing his jokes, laughing with loved ones, and encouraging every doctor and nurse caring for him. He passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, June 13. Billy is deeply loved and will be remembered by many. His legacy will live on through his family and friends. His spirit always was and always will be strong.
"You can't break the spirit of a small-town southern man."
*Small-Town Southern Man, Alan Jackson
