Carl Dewayne Hyde was born in Prague, Oklahoma to Aubrey and Lodena Hyde on April 27,1962. He and his wife Ellen were married eleven years. He lived most of his life in the small town of Davenport. He had three children, Johnathan, Tabath, and Gunter. Three stepchildren Nathan Castillo, Shayne Wright, and Jean Wright. Operating heavy machinery was his greatest joy. He was most at home on a trac hoe. His passions included karaoke, drawing, westerns, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. For three years he courageously fought against cancer, never giving up or blaming God. Carl will be remembered for his generosity and his funny side. He wasn't afraid to give anyone a kiss on the kips. His Elvis singing voice was well known with all his doctors and nurses. He is preceded in death by his parents Aubrey and Lodena Hyde, brother, Aubrey Lee Hyde, granddaughter, ZoeyHyde Brown, and grandparents. Survived by his wife Ellen Hyde, brothers, Alfred, Larry, and Harry, sisters, Carolyn, Clovis, and Vicky Murray, three children , three grandchildren, three stepchildren, and eight step grandchildren and many loving family members. As well as his chihuahua companions, Velvet and Maybelle. A memorial service for Carl Hyde will be held July 31, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Davenport, Oklahoma at 2:00pm. Services entrusted to Brown's Family Funeral Home of Chandler, Oklahoma.
