Charles Leslie Gibson, 79, passed away January 19th, 2022 at the family home in Harrah,

Oklahoma. A beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was born April 10, 1942 in Utica,

Oklahoma to Charlie and Gondola Gibson. He attended school in Achielle, Oklahoma through his

senior year. He went on to attend Southeastern Oklahoma State University obtaining a bachelor and

masters degree.

He began his teaching career in Newkirk, Oklahoma were he taught for 5 years. In 1970 he

began teaching in Harrah, Oklahoma retiring in 2009 after 39 years with the Harrah ISD.

Charles married Nancy L. Lynn of Durant, Oklahoma December 26th 1969. They were blessed

with two sons, Christopher and Jason.

Charles is survived by his wife Nancy, son Christopher and Nariba, son Jason and two

grandsons, Cayden and Cole. He is also survived by his sister Barbara and Bill trotter of Rowlett, Texas

and sister Ann Biasini of Georgetown, Texas, sister in law Sandra and John Dewey of Denison, Texas

and cousin Don Baker of Denison, Texas
