IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Clifford Roy
Parker
October 17, 1955 – January 5, 2024
Clifford Roy Parker was born October 17, 1955 to Effie Parker and Raymond Smith, in Chandler Oklahoma, the 4th of six children. He attended Douglass schools K- 4th grade, integrated 5'th - 8th to Eastside schools, and graduated from Chandler H. S. in 1973. He was an all around athlete, and lettered in football, basketball, and track for four years. He went on to attend OSU in Stillwater, Oklahoma for 2 years on a full track scholarship.
He worked a variety of jobs in Oklahoma City throughout his life in the manufacturing field; two of which were AT&T, and W. W. Steel.
He loved fishing, playing dominoes, watching his favorite teams, the KC Chiefs, OU Sooners, and the Thunder, win, or lose. He also had a serious green thumb. He loved his plants, his home was filled with them, and he insisted they all had names.
On January 5 he departed this life at the OU Medical Center hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla. His mother and father preceded him in death, along with his sister Martha Ann Stanfield, and his brothers Paul Caldwell, and Alan Parker.
He leaves to cherish his memory (4) daughters, Tanishe (Tiki) McCarroll, Midwest City, Okla., Chairika Nesbitt, Little Elm, Tx., Bria Givens, Wiley, Tx., Shyla Givens, Plano, Tx., (2) sons, Arian Parker, Midwest City, Okla., Jerome Givens, Dallas, Tx., (9) grandchildren, (1) great grandchild, (1) sister, Linda Hines (JD), (1) brother, Dennis Parker, both of Oklahoma City, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He had a very special relationship with his best friend, through thick and thin his entire life, and to the very end, (JY), June (Lewis) Buckner. We love and thank you very much for the unconditional, and unwavering relationship you had with Cliff.
Cliff may not have had his name on anyone's church role, but rest assured he knew, and kept his faith in God. We know you are now finally resting in peace.
