Coy Gene "Cooter" Vinson was born Feb 14th 1945 in Wright city. Oklahoma to Bulah V Vinson and casper B Vinson. While born on valentines day he had a heart of gold that stop beating on March 21st 2024 in meeker Oklahoma.

Coy was a big hunter and fisherman and loved his family. He spent many hours in the woods at deer camp or on a boat. He never missed a chance to get a pole in the water or sit in a deer stand. Especially after he retired. He also liked to read and watch old westerns. There wasn't a John Wayne movie he couldn't resite word for word.

Anyone who met him knew he was one of a kind with a kind heart and a gentle soul. He was met at that holy fishing hole by his parents and siblings. He leaves behind a family that will forever miss him.
