Boles
May 2, 1948 – September 4, 2025
Curtis Kelton Boles entered this life on May 2, 1948, in Cushing, Oklahoma, born to Warren and Mary Boles. He departed this life on September 4, 2025, in McLoud, Oklahoma, at the age of 77 years.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, his great-nephew Cade Boles, and his beloved sister-in-law, Lynda Boles.
He is survived by his brother, Warren Boles; his sister, Jennie Pratt and husband Tom; nephews, Cy and wife Donna Boles, David and wife Dara Boles, Shane Pratt, and Will Pratt and wife Brittany; niece, Ashley Weichbrodt and husband Blake; along with a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Curtis will be remembered as a man whose life was defined by his love of music and art. A gifted and talented artist, his artwork brought joy to many. He was also known for his "pickin' and grinnin'," finding happiness in playing the banjo and sharing music with others. When he wasn't creating or playing music, Curtis found peace in the outdoors through farming and ranching, raising his cows with care and dedication.
Above all, Curtis lived a simple yet meaningful life filled with creativity, song, and the rhythms of the land. His music, his art, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
