David Wayne Sims entered this life on January 17, 1949 to L.J. and Margie Ann Sims in Paris, Arkansas. David entered into eternal rest on August 28, 2021 in McLoud, Oklahoma at the age of 72.

David was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing whenever possible. The most important thing in his life was his family and spoiling his grandkids.

Preceding David Sims in death are his parents, his sister, and his baby brother. Left to mourn his passing is his beloved wife, Carol Sims. His daughter, Joyce and Spouse Wes Taylor. His son, Larry and spouse Brittany Sims. His grandchildren, Chelsea, Leslie, Kylee, Peyton, and Colten. His great grandchildren, Archer, Paxton, Aralee, and Alilah. Numerous family member and friends.
