David Lynn Wallace of Mcloud was born May 2, 1935 to Charles and Bessie Wallace in Aline Oklahoma. He passed this life surrounded by his family on October 19,2020 at the age of 85 in Shawnee Oklahoma. David proudly served his country, he retired from the Navy with 27 years of service and a E8 rank. David enjoyed wood working and just working with his hands, he was an engineer and not only enjoyed designing things but was gifted at it. Preceding David in death are both his parents, one daughter Carrie Wallace, and one son Dennis Wallace, as well as five brothers. Left behind to mourn his passing is his wife of 62 years Eileen Wallace of the home. Four children David Wallace of MWC, Veronica Wilkerson and husband Richard of Mcloud, Timothy Wallace and wife Ginger of Mcloud, and Lisa Groff and husband Michael of Harrah. One sister Charlene Riggs and husband Dale of Enid, four sister in laws; Eula Mae, Joyce, Fern, and Karen, two brother in laws; Dennis and Paul. Along with 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. David's legacy will be remembered by a host of other family and friends. In Lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to St. Judes Children Hospital in Memphis TN in Davids honor.
