Dennis Paul Brown was born March 1, 1935 to Bill and Zella Mae Brown in Putnam, Oklahoma. Dennis entered into rest in his home surrounded by his beloved family on April 24, 2018. Dennis was a lover of life and lived each day to the fullest. He enjoyed the majority of his life married to his wife Eleanor for 64 years. Throughout those 64 years him and Eleanor were avid travelers and owned a Child Care Facilty for several years. Dennis was a dedicated worker and also worked at Unit Parts in Oklahoma City for 15 years. When Dennis was not working or traveling he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. Dennis loved being outdoors, especially when it came to caring and tending to animals. Dennis was a big animal lover and could be seen when he was out riding or breaking horses. Dennis also enjoyed being out on the water on hot summer days water skiing. Dennis was actively involved in the Old Paris Flea Market. Dennis was never known to be a selfish man and took great joy in helping and giving to other no matter the circumstance. Preceding Dennis in death are his parents, Bill and Zella Mae Brown. Two sisters, Glenda Wilson and Patsy Ferrell. One brother, J.W. Brown. Daughter, Sheri Trent, and Grandson, Caleb Brown Higginbottom. Left to mourn his passing is his beloved wife, Eleanor Brown of the home. Three daughters, Valaria and husband Ralph Higginbottom of Harrah, Kimberly and husband Tim Higginbottom of Indiana, Quita and husband Darren Sheppard of Edmond. One son Dennis Brent and wife Nena of Newalla. 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Along with a host of other family and friends. A public visitation for Dennis Brown will be Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Brown's Family Funeral Home in Mcloud, Oklahoma from 10:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. Services for Dennis Brown will be Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. located atTwin Lakes Church of Nazarene in Mcloud, Oklahoma. Services entrusted to Brown's Family Funeral Home of McLoud, Oklahoma.
