Dolores Jones, age 95, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025. She was born on January 15, 1930, in Sylvan, Oklahoma, to Ernest and Hattie Clark.

Dolores was a devoted wife, loving mother, and faithful servant of the Lord. She shared 70 and a half wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Britt Jones Jr., who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her daughter Patricia Faye, son Terry Jones, sister Altha Smith, and infant brother Ernest Clark Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Penny Hazelwood and husband Mike of Meeker, Donna Fleming of Kentucky, Britt Eric Jones of Shawnee, and Scarlet Ratliff of Bethany. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and a host of extended family members and dear friends who will miss her dearly.

Dolores found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a green thumb and loved tending to her garden and flower beds. A true book lover, she could often be found with a good story in hand, and her love for Bible study reflected her deep and enduring faith.

Her gentle spirit, kind heart, and steadfast love for her family and the Lord made a lasting impression on all who knew her. Dolores's life was a testimony of grace, strength, and devotion, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of many.
