Edna Louise Pickard entered this life on April 28, 1945, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Sylvester and Ednar Hale. On October 1, 2024, at the age of 79, Edna passed into eternal rest in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Ednar Hale; her brother, Jerry Hale; her great-granddaughter, Dimond Louise; and her sisters-in-law, Vickie Rispiecio and Mary Hale.

She is survived by her loving children, Luther Wayne Pickard and wife Jennifer, and Cynthia Pickard; her cherished grandchildren, Heather, Luther, James, and Niki; and her precious great-grandchildren, Briana, Brianna, Layton, Elizsa, Landen, Issac, Ava, Micah, Kenneth, Owen, Jed, and Zahniyah.

Edna's memory will also be carried on by her beloved siblings: Mae Story, Sue Hale, Dempsey Hale and wife Judy, Ernest Hale, Shirley Danner, Emmit Hale and wife Susan, Finis Hale and wife Paula, and Tommy Hale. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.

Edna was a woman of deep faith who found joy in going to church and talking about the Bible. No matter what she was going through, she always expressed how blessed she felt. She had a servant's heart, volunteering her time at the food pantry and working with children in church.

Her unwavering love for God, her family, and her community touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed.
