Ellen Mae Jilge was born February 13, 1936 to Walter Jack Lawson and Jewel Irene Lawson in Colgate Oklahoma. Ellen passed away on November 27, 2019. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Paul Ray Jilge and her children, Jean Ann Hood, Rickey Dean Jilge, Robert Kalen Jilge and Paula Irene Marshall, 5 grandchildren, Paul Quincy Hood, Jason Hugh Hood, Jeanna Kay Hood, Michael Trent Jilge and Patrick Jilge, 12 great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 12 step great grandchildren, 8 step great great grandchildren, 5 sisters and many close friends whom she cherished dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and 1 step grandchild. She was the best cook and had the spirit of a child. She loved babies and children of all ages. She enjoyed her plants and flowers, hummingbirds, cutting up with family and friends and had a little bit of an ornery streak, which we all loved about her. She could always cheer you up when you were feeling down. Those close to her could count on her to brighten their day in some way whether it was a little joking around, tickling you until you laughed, making your favorite meal or possibly some homemade cookies. She was a good wife and mother and always took care of her family. She will be very much missed by all those who knew and loved her. Memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located in McLoud Oklahoma on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 3:00 pm. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
