Eric Buchanan, of Oklahoma, passed away on October 24, 2026, in Oklahoma City, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 27, 1963, in Del City, Oklahoma.

Eric will be remembered as a man who found joy in both the simple pleasures of life and the people he loved most. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base in December of 2023, marking the close of a meaningful chapter in his working life. In retirement and throughout the years, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, and working on his 1969 Camero. Above all, he treasured spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and making countless memories together.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Stephanie Buchanan; his sister, Brenda Brand; and his brother, Paul Buchanan. May their memories of Eric bring comfort in the days ahead and remain a lasting source of peace and love.

Eric was preceded in death by his father, Windel Buchanan; his mother, Helen Newby; and his brother, Mark Buchanan. Their memory remained part of his life and story, and he now rests with those who went before him.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on October 28, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Brown's Family Funeral Home, 416 E Broadway, McLoud, OK 74851. A memorial service will also be held on October 28, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Brown's Family Funeral Home in McLoud.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
