Ernest R. Wickham was born on December 19, 1944 to Lawrence and Lena Wickham in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Ernest entered into eternal rest on September 3, 2018 at the age of 73 surrounded by his loved ones. Ernest was a man who never met a stranger. He was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He also loved the outdoors. Even after his stroke Ernest found ways to enjoy the outdoors. He did this by getting a scooter and driving it all over Bartlesville even through the drive thru. He was so well know in Bartlesville he would get rides from locals and from police officers. Everyone that knew Ernest knew his family line "huh". He was always saying this even when he knew what the other person was saying. His favorite game with his family to play was Wahoo. It was the best way the family would bond and would go through at least 3 to 4 games a night. His favorite name for his dice was Tonto. He was a man that could never stay still; he always needed something to do. Ernest most definitely lived each day to the fullest. Preceding Ernest in death are his parents Lawrence and Lena Wickham, three brothers, and beloved wife Eva Wickham. Left to mourn his passing is his daughter, Tina Weeks, 5 grandkids, Stephanie Littrell, Brandy Baker, Jacob Weeks, Taylor Lane, and Leah Bergstrom. 2 great grandkids, Logan Baker and Paisley Bergstrom. 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Along with a host of other family and friends. Services for Ernest R. Wickham will be Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Ochelata Cemetery in Ochelata, Oklahoma at 2:00pm. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 6, 2018, at 12:00pm at Ochelata Cemetery. Services entrusted to Brown's Family Funeral Home, McLoud, Oklahoma.
