Evangeline Cenizal entered this life on November 11, 1940, to 1st LT Frederick Gasataya and Socorro Jayme in Fort McKinley, Rizal, The Philippines. Evangeline entered eternal rest on May 10, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 82.

Evangeline was a devoted mother, daughter and sister, whose strong faith carried her through the vicissitudes of life.  She was a talented songstress and enjoyed music and writing. A dedicated law professor, she served as Associate Dean of the University of the East College of Law for several years.

Preceding Evangeline in death are her parents, her brother, Juan Gasataya and Sister, Remedios Gasataya.  Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Jose Cenizal Jr., her two daughters, Mary Jane and spouse Robert Newport and Mary Joseline and spouse Steve Dittmann, her son Jose Cenizal III and spouse Libertine, her granddaughters, Josephine Louise and Alyssa Marie Cenizal and grandson, Sean Dittmann, along with a host of other family and friends.
