Jackie Marie Travis, age 65, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025. Born on October 9, 1959, to Jesse Carr and Ruby Brown, Jackie was a loving mother, devoted sister, proud grandmother, and a true lover of animals.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved daughter, Jaimie Coughran; her sisters, Debbie Gurley and Sandy Kirkland; and her cherished niece, Kaylee Kirkland.

She is survived by her sons, Danny Coughran and his wife Michelle, and Desmond Travis and his partner Travis Walsh; her sister Kim Watts; her brother Frankie Carr and his wife Jennifer; and her granddaughter, Isabelle Coughran, whom she adored.

Jackie had a gentle spirit and a deep love for animals, especially her dog Fiona who brought her great comfort and joy. She found happiness in the simple things—spending time with her children, watching her favorite TV shows, and sipping on a cold Dr Pepper. Her warmth, humor, and down-to-earth nature will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Jackie's life was one of quiet strength, kindness, and love for those closest to her. May her memory be a blessing and her spirit live on in those she held dear.
