James Ryan McCoy entered this life on August 30, 1991, in Macomb, Oklahoma, born to James McCoy and Valerie Nettles. He entered into eternal rest on September 15, 2024, in Lawton, Oklahoma, at the age of 33.

James was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Laquita McCoy, and his grandfather, George B. Waldrep.

He is survived by a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his father, Clint McCoy; his mother, Valerie, and her husband Alex Nettles; his significant other, Megan Stewart; his son, Abel McCoy, and Baby McCoy, who is yet to be born. He also leaves behind his four sisters, Kameryn McCoy, Marinda McCoy, Caroline McCoy, and Aubree Welch; his cherished papa, J.E. Sonny McCoy; his grandparents, Carolyn Payne and Robert (Nan and Bobbie); and his precious nieces and nephews, Kayson and Hollynn. James is also survived by his aunts, Melissa McCoy and Patricia LaFontaine; his uncle, Gregg Waldrip, as well as a host of extended family and numerous dear friends.

James was a man of many passions. He found great joy in hunting, fishing, football, and music, and took pride in raising and training dogs. His love for the outdoors and his family was evident to all who knew him.

James will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives he touched.
