James Michael Spain, born on December 16, 1963, to Clarence and Geraldine Spain in DeWitt, Arkansas, entered into eternal rest on January 19, 2025, in McLoud, Oklahoma, at the age of 61.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Geraldine Spain, as well as his siblings Steve Spain, Terry Rhodes, Rebecca Spain, Kevin Spain, and Angela Spain.

He is survived by his son, Dakota Spain, and granddaughter, Stella Spain, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his brother, Gary Spain and his wife Lorri; nephews Kaleb Spain and his wife Judy, Jarrad Spain, and Jeremy Rhodes; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and dear friends.

James was a hardworking man who took great pride in his labor and found joy in keeping busy. In his downtime, he loved watching television and entertaining those around him with his quick wit and sense of humor. His dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and his ability to bring laughter to any situation will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
