Janice Rae Fowler, 82, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed peacefully on August 17, 2025. She was born on August 7, 1943, in Chandler, Oklahoma, to Clyde Alfred Fowler and Myrtha Geraldine Spoonemore Fowler, and was raised in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Janice lived a life filled with joy, warmth, and love for those around her. She especially enjoyed playing Nintendo 64 late into the night with family and friends, where her laughter and competitive spirit brought everyone together. She had a deep love for animals and found comfort and companionship in their presence. She also adored babies, cherishing their innocence and bringing her gentle heart to care for them.

Janice's kind and giving nature left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She will be remembered for her playful spirit, her compassion, and the love she shared so freely.

A memorial service honoring her life will be held on October 18, 2025, at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker, Oklahoma.
