Miss Janice Louise Thornton was born at home in Chilesville Oklahoma on July 9, 1961; the twelfth child born to Annie Tryon Thornton and Sammie Thornton. As a child she attended Chilesville Elementary and went on to graduate from Boley High School in 1979. Janice loved to laugh and spend time with family and friends.  Throughout the years she has worked as a seamstress and a cook. She gave birth to two sets of twins Marshall, Marchell, Marnell and Marqusha. Janice will be remembered for her kind heart, easy smile and quirky sense of humor.

Along with her kids she leaves behind three grandkids: Osarius Wilkins, Dakarai Lee, and Lillie Thornton and five sisters: Lillie Morrison, Roberta Cooper, Sandra Kay Woodfork, Mandie Thornton, Wanda Frazier, Jimmie Lee Gardner. Sisters-in-law Viola Thornton and Emma Thornton/Brother in laws: Darnell Morrison, Nathaniel Woodfork Jr, and Archer Frazier and a host of niece and nephews whom she loved dearly! Even though her mortal life was cut short, her eternal life will be everlasting!
