Jimmie Lee Wilson, age 94, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026. He was born on May 10, 1932, and lived a life devoted to his faith, his family, and serving others.

For more than 40 years, Jimmie faithfully served as an ordained minister and missionary, dedicating his life to sharing the Gospel and ministering to those around him. His unwavering faith and compassionate heart left a lasting impact on countless lives throughout his years of ministry.

Jimmie found great joy in the simple things in life. He enjoyed gardening, caring for his yard, fishing, and spending time tinkering on projects. He was also an avid fan of classic Westerns and found comfort and inspiration in gospel music.

Above all, Jimmie treasured his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, including his mother, Agnes Delia Knight, and by his beloved son, Jimmy Wilson.

He leaves behind his loving children, David Wilson, Sherrie Briggs, and Rita Wilson; his cherished grandchildren, Mitzi Wilson, Cody Wilson, and Dustin Briggs; his brother, Neil Wilson and his wife, Emilie Wilson; his sisters, Joe Ryan, Linda Smith, and Cathy Spillers and her husband, Bob Spillers; along with many extended family members, friends, and those whose lives were forever changed through his ministry.

Jimmie will be remembered as a faithful servant of God, a devoted father and grandfather, and a kind-hearted man whose life reflected his love for Christ. His legacy of faith, service, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
