Obituary

Jordan Shores, 26, passed away on May 10, 2026. Born on January 9, 2000, Jordan was deeply loved by his family, friends, and everyone blessed to truly know him.

Jordan was the beloved son of Jeffrey Shores and Christa Treat. He was a proud and devoted big brother to Jalen Shores and Jayzen Shores, sharing with them a bond filled with love, loyalty, and protection. He also carried in his heart the memory of his late brother, Marcus Morris Shores, whom he loved deeply.

He is survived by his loving Nana, Renay Treat, and his grandmother, RoseMary Shores. Jordan also leaves behind his uncle and aunt, Steven and Kristen Treat, along with his cousin, Harper Treat, all of whom held a special place in his life. He was preceded in death by his Papa, Mark Treat, and his grandfather, Richard Shores.

Jordan loved spending time with the people he cared about most.

Whether he was laughing with family, making memories with friends, or simply being goofy around those he loved, Jordan had a special way of making people feel safe, protected, and important.

In his younger years, Jordan enjoyed playing football and basketball, and he attended OCCC for a short time. Those closest to him knew the truth about Jordan's heart. Beneath his tough exterior, he was incredibly loyal, soft-hearted, and loving. He loved deeply and fiercely protected those close to him. He was especially close to his brothers and was proudly known as a "momma's boy," something his family will always smile about.

Jordan's life was not without struggles, but his struggles never defined him. Even through the hardest seasons of his life, Jordan believed his testimony would one day bring light t^ others and help lift people up.

He wanted his story to mean something bigger than himself - to remind others that they are never alone, no matter how heavy life may become.

Beyond every hardship was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend who was loved beyond measure. His laughter, loyalty, big heart, and unforgettable presence will forever remain in the hearts of the people who loved him most.

Though his time here on earth was far too short, Jordan's memory will continue to live on through every story shared, every laugh remembered, and every life he touched. He will be missed beyond words and loved for a lifetime.
