Obituary

Jordy Ray Gryder entered this life on April 26, 1970, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, born to Jim and Joan Gryder. He entered into rest on November 13, 2025, in Luther, Oklahoma, surrounded by the love of his family.

Jordy was preceded in death by his parents and by his nephew, Daniel Priest, along with grandparents David and Bessie Gryder, Charles and Joyce Singleton. And one Granddaughter Sophia Jade. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Ginger Gryder, of the home; his four children: Justin Gryder and wife Catherine, Kara Clark and partner Tyler Burright, Jordyn Gryder and significant other Tyler Barber, and Bethany Tran and wife Betty. He is also survived by his siblings: David Gryder, Vadonna Freeman, and Melissa Cruz; and his nine grandchildren—Brayden, Bentley, Bowman, Blakelynn, Jace, Liam, Daxtin, Brixtin, and Brooks, along with three bonus grandchildren Gunner, Ariya, and Marina, who were the absolute light of his life.

Jordy lived a life built on family, laughter, and simple joys. He was an animal lover through and through and cherished every moment spent with his dogs. Some of his fondest memories came from childhood—especially "chicken fights" with his grandpa and time spent outdoors. Nothing, however, meant more to him than the moments shared with his grandchildren. His love for them was immeasurable, and he took great pride in being their "Papa."

His presence was a gift, his humor unforgettable, and his love steadfast. Jordy will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy will continue to live on through the family he so dearly loved.

We love you, Jordy, and you will be missed by so many.
