Larry Joe Mayes was born March 18th 1972 to Larry Mayes and Nelda (Herring) Mayes in Drumright Oklahoma.

In 1993 Joe and his wife Julie were blessed with a daughter and then  blessed with a son in 1999. Joe worked construction and also owned a seal coating business to support his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed being outside and he also loved riding his motorcycle.

Joe was preceded in death by his son Robert Paul Mayes his dad Larry Leonard Mayes and his brother Geren Lee Mayes.

Joe is survived by his wife Christine Mayes, his mother Nelda (Herring- Mayes) Castillo and husband Joseph, his daughter Elizabeth Jo Mayes-Cook and her husband Ryan grandson's Bryan Leonard, Mathew Dillon and Nathan Paul.  Stepdaughter Teshera Frantz and grandson's Ryan and Jeremiah.   Stepdaughter Nikita Cash and husband James granddaughter Julie and soon to be grandson Colt.  Brother Edward Wayne Mayes and wife Lori,  sister's Bobbie Wall and partner Marty McKinney, Lajeanna Mayes and partner Jodie Barentine and Nelda (Sissy) Lynn McGee and partner Daniel McKee and numerous nieces nephews and other family and friends.

Funeral services  will be on March 11th at 2 PM at the corner of 7th and Klabzuba Avenue. 702 Klabzuba Ave,  Prague, Oklahoma.
