Life long Dale resident Leon Bradford Cox was born January 23, 1942 to Leo and Mabel Cox. He passed this life May 9, 2021 at his home with his family by his side. Leon was a very active member in his community, the FFA chapter, and Dale Church of Christ. Leon enjoyed taking vacations, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed owning and operating C&L Sand with his son Chris Cox, but nothing was more important to him than his kids and grandkids. Preceding Leon in death are his grandparents, both his parents; Leo and Mabel Cox, one brother Ernest John Cox, and son in law Gary Goodwin. Left behind to mourn his passing is his life long sweetheart of almost 59 years Pat Cox of the home. Two daughters; Sherrie and Frank Dykes, and Louri Goodwin. One son Chris L. and Tammy Cox. Six grandchildren; Jenaa and Chris Gibson, Tyler and Alicia Holton, Brooke and Jeff Stith, Tanner and Shayla Goodwin, Lane and Taylor Cox, and Tucker Kluding. Along with eight great grandchildren; Justice, Zaley, Journey, Oakleigh, Calloway, Gentry, Maisyn, and Rawlin. Leon
