Leonard Jess Brown was born on June 2, 1955, to Vernon and Bertha Brown. He entered into eternal rest on April 9, 2025, at his home in Newalla, Oklahoma.

Leonard was a devoted family man who lived a life rooted in love, loyalty, and laughter. He was a passionate outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he especially treasured the time spent with his grandchildren and family. Whether it was a quiet day at the lake or a family gathering at home, Leonard's presence brought warmth and joy to all those around him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Brown; his son, Donnie Jess Brown; and his daughter, Amber Brown Wheeler. Leonard was a proud grandfather to Garrett Brown, Tyler Brown, and Amelia Wheeler, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

Leonard is also survived by his sisters Shawn Armstrong and Monica Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Bertha Brown, and his brother, Vernon Brown Jr.

Leonard's legacy is one of unwavering love for his family, a deep appreciation for the outdoors, and a life lived with purpose and heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
