Lonnie J. Ross, 69 of Spencer City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, at home. Born on September 4, 1956, to Joseph Ross Sr. and Cleotha Ross, he lived a life filled with love.

He grew up in Spencer, Oklahoma, where he attended Star Spencer High School and developed a deep love for family. He was known as the great storyteller of the family, always having a creative style of communicating with others. He was also known for his infectious laugh and the ability to keep it real.

Whether it was driving trucks or fishing he gave his whole heart to everything he undertook. He dedicated his life to children and grandchildren and was an unwavering source of love, wisdom, and encouragement to all who knew him.

Left to Cherish His Memory: He is survived by his children Orelia, Tanzania, Roshunda , Alexandria, Aniah; his grandchildren, Jemecia, Cacee, Calaya Ethan, La’Nai, Mariya, Camayah, Ambriella; his siblings, Barney, Edward, and Dennis, a host of devoted family members, and cherished friends

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sandra; his daughter, Roneisha; parents, Joseph Ross Sr and Cleotha Ross; his brother, Joseph Ross Jr, and sister, Brenda M. Ross.

Lonnie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, faith, and kindness will endure in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
