Obituary

Proud Delaware Nation Tribal citizen, Air Force Veteran, and a Master Carpenter, Marvin Vinson passed away on January 4, 2024. Marvin was a longtime Shawnee resident, loyal University of Oklahoma football fan, avid reader, and award-winning pool and darts player and tournament manager. He loved and was loved by all those he called family. Many have good memories of Marvin's jokes, Christmas gifts, woodworking artistry, and more. Marvin is survived by his brother Melvin Vinson, sisters Judith Bennett and Barbara Littleaxe, as well as many nieces and nephews. He leaves a big hole in the Zientek, Lenggenhager, and Talbot family hearts as well. Funeral Arrangements are handled by Brown's Family Funeral Home-McLoud, Oklahoma. Visitation will be January 9th, 2024, 5pm to 8pm. Memorial Service will be Wednesday January 10th at Noon. Interment at family plot in Anadarko.
