Mazle Mae Turnquist entered this life on March 14, 1928 in Scottsboro, Alabama to Porter and Dossie Matlock. Mazle entered into eternal rest on August 25, 2023 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Mazle was always looking for a good time and was always the person to bring the fun. She was competitive when it came to bowling and tennis and she looked forward to going to the bowling alley as often as she could. In her free time she enjoyed reading and using her green thumb for gardening. She also enjoyed watching basketball. Most importantly Mazle loved spending time with her family. She looked forward to her kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and even her great great grandkids coming over to see her.

Preceding Mazle in death are her parents and her sister, Lucille Matlock Davis. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Donald Turnquist, her chidlren, Dianna Lynn Turnquist, Danny Bruce "BooBoo" Turnquist and spouse Anita, and Margaret Ann Colston and fiance' Randy Taylor. Her grandchildren, Justine, Angela, Kristi, and Kyler. Her great grandchildren, Natasha, Christian, Alexandria, Ashley, Celecia, Quinton, Samantha, Jeremy, and Jade. Along with 7 great great grandchildren and one on the way with a host of other family and friends.
