Melba Longley of McLoud Oklahoma was born February 14, 1951 to Lonnie and Tilda Cooley in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. She went home to be with her Lord on October 20, 2018 in Shawnee Oklahoma. Melba enjoyed many things in life, she enjoyed watching her Sooners play and she loved spending time in kitchen cooking. But most important in her life was spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Preceding Melba in death are both her parents and two sisters Linda and Marilyn. Left to mourn her passing his her husband of forty nine years Vence Longley of the home; five children Jennifer and husband Billy Roberts of Harrah, Susanne and husband Ed Cox of Texas, Mike and wife Jennifer Longley of Louisiana, John and wife Tammi Longley of Harrah, and Chris Longley of Moore. Two brothers Lonnie and Gary Cooley and one sister Leona Stroble. Along with ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and a numerous nieces and nephews.
