Melissa was a creative artist. She enjoyed drawing and was an animal lover especially when it came to cats. She cherished her children and above all Jesus.

Left to cherish her memory is her three sons, Cody Winford, Levi Winford, and Kirk Winford Jr. Her two daughters, Melody Johnson and Abby Johnson. Her step daughters, Tiffany, Jayla, and Amber. Her loving mother, Shirley Morphew. Her sister, Michelle and spouse Scott Van Eck and her brother, Chris and spouse Angie Morphew. Her Uncle Leon and Aunt Glenda Pickard.
