Michael Wade Alexander, age 65, of Paden Oklahoma left this world loved on August 6th, 2024. Mike was born to Walter and Bonnie Alexander in Hinton Oklahoma on July 22, 1959. Mike was the baby of six children, his brothers and sisters are Shirley, Bud, Pat, Bill, Sandy, and then there was our Uncle Mike.

Mike was commonly referred to around the community as "Uncle Mike" due to his three nephews, Alex, Ryan, and Corbin. There was not a day gone by that he did not brag on what good young men his nephews were. He loved watching Alex play basketball, picking at Ryan, and cuddling/roughhousing with Corbin. Mike loved his family with every part of his being.

Mike was preceded in death by both his parents and four of his siblings. He resided with his only living sister, Sandy K. Pruitt, for the last ten years of his life.  The bond between Mike and Sandy was unique and irreplaceable. They survived the deaths of their parents and their brothers and sisters. Though they quarreled with each other, they flourished in a thousand incarnations of closeness, warmth, loyalty, and trust. Together they faced whatever life sent them. They shared so much joy, laughter, and told the best family stories. Sandy lovingly held Mike's hands as he left this life.

Mike's presence is already profoundly missed but the memories he created will forever be a source of comfort to those who loved him.

Graveside services to honor Mikes's life will be held on Saturday, August 10th at 10 a.m. at Paden Oakdale Cemetery.
