Michael Phillip Anderson (Michael P), Age 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on February 5th, 2025. He was born to Pat Dewayne Anderson and Amelia Upchurch Anderson on December 28th, 1958, in Woburn, Massachusetts. He lived in many places throughout his life, such as Japan and Germany. His family settled in Oklahoma, where Mike graduated from Moore High School in 1977. Since then, he has been a long-time resident of South OKC.  He married in 1988, and out of that marriage, he had one daughter, Mikah, and gained two stepdaughters who he loved dearly.

Michael P. was a tournament-winning pool player and quite the country western dancer, even winning a few dance contests with his sister, Jill.  He was a "Jack of all Trades" workwise, having experience in the oil field, guttering, bartending, carpentry, and all-around handyman work. He was very good with math and numbers. He was a very skilled artist in drawing and woodworking, whether it be with a saw or "whittling" on his sticks. He could build anything with his hands and even won 1st and 2nd place at the Oklahoma State Fair with his wood art.

Mike was a fierce protector and loved his family. He loved being on the water, whether it was playing or fishing. He was passionate about (and really good at) fishing. Mike had a special relationship with his daughter, Mikah Doodle, and loved her very much. He was a proud Grandpa P to his four grandsons, all of whom have his signature blue eyes.  He will be deeply missed.

On behalf of his daughter Mikah, she would like to thank not only those who helped care for her father while he was sick, dying, and after death - but also those who have helped care for him throughout his life.

Michael P. is survived by his Daughter Mikah Anderson-Seward and his four grandsons Jesse, Gunner, Rusttyn, and Ryatt. Siblings Jill Redmond, and Billy and Patty Hargrave. Bonus daughter Kathy and Husband Scott Jones, Bonus Granddaughters Taylor and Rylee. As well as many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
