Nancy Lynette Ross, 56, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on August 4, 2025. She was born on May 5, 1969, in Poteau, Oklahoma, to Thomas and Clara Smith.

Nancy lived her life with a heart full of faith and a song on her lips. She loved singing Christian music and was honored to serve as a congregational song leader, sharing her gift to inspire and uplift others in worship. Her devotion to the Lord was the guiding light in all she did.

Proud of her heritage, Nancy cherished the connection to her father's side of the family, including Pat and Debby Boone, and enjoyed every opportunity to gather at family reunions, always confirming her place among loved ones.

Nancy met the love of her life, David Ross, while working at Valley View Hospital. Their friendship blossomed during their "break buddy" chats and grew into a beautiful romance. They were married on October 7, 2000, and spent 25 wonderful years together. Nancy and David shared a passion for traveling, exploring destinations all across the United States and taking every opportunity to journey "whenever and wherever."

Nancy's love extended to her "furbabies," Motley and Trixie, who were her constant companions and brought her great joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Clara Smith, as well as her siblings. She is survived by her beloved husband, David Ross; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family members; and a host of friends who will forever remember her warm spirit, steadfast faith, and love for life.

Nancy's life was a testament to service, love, and joy, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
