Nash "Sonny" Harjo Jr. of Seminole was born to Nash "Porch" Harjo. and Susie Harjo on July 16, 1963 in Pawnee OK. Sonny went home to be with his Lord on July 3, 2018 surrounded by his family. Sonny enjoyed many things in life, from shooting his guns to fighting chickens and cooking outdoors. But nothing brought more joy to him then his family and watching his children play sports, and watching TV with his side kick Roxie. On October 12, 1991 Sonny married the love of his life Rhonda C. Harjo at Bowlegs First Baptist Church where he was a member for many years. Sonny was a hard worker where he worked as an asbestos abatement supervisor for over 25 years for Environmental Action Inc. Officiating will be Randall Miller, assistant officiating will be Rodney Troglin. Pallbearers will be Jeff Cavett, Pat Lee, Gary Mainord, Steven Roberson, Juan Prieto, and Abel Beltran. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cris Krause, Herman Foster, Richard Crow, Keith Douthit, Danny Wood, Mickey Ashby, Charles "Bone" Burgess, Steven Claborn, Michiah Johnson, and Kane McKee. Preceding Sonny in his passing are his parents, his grandparents, and one sister Yvonne Conger Wood. Left behind to mourn his passing is his wife Rhonda C. Harjo of the home, two children Paige Harjo and Nash Lane Harjo of the home. Three sisters Tina Sharp of Texas, Barbara Harjo of Shawnee, and JoAnn Novak. And two brothers Edward Harjo and Terry West, one nephew Zackery Harjo of Shawnee. Along with four nieces Shannon Lynch of Shawnee, Ricki Sharp of Texas, Kim Sharp of Texas, and Misty Sharp of Texas. Along with a host of other family and friends including his grand fur baby "Roxie". Visitation will be held on Friday July 6, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. Services will be Saturday July 7, 2018 at 1 p.m. Both will be held at First Baptist Church of Bowlegs. Services entrusted to Browns Family Funeral Home in Mcloud, OK.
