Patricia Ann Johnson also known as "Aunt Pat" was born in Chandler, OK on July 17th, 1948 to Carl and Vera Burgess who preceded her in death. She was one of five children. Pat lived in Chandler, OK for the most of her life where she graduated High School in 1966.

At an early age Pat dedicated her life to Christ. She was an active member at Bethel AME Church for several years. She served as a youth leader at Central Baptist Church for many years under James E. Reed. On January 11, 1968 Pat gave birth to Reverend David Burgess (father Chester Milton deceased October 2024). In November 1984, she married Reford Johnson and moved to Bristow, OK. Here, she joined Greater Mt. Herman Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. DW Nash, also being a youth leader. During this time Pat worked as a home healthcare worker for the communities of both Bristow and Chandler and she also worked as a private home healthcare worker. Pat was a member of CIC, and The Community Action Program ran after school. Pat and Reford begin opening their home to fostering children in the year of 1992. In this union 5 children were raised and they hosted many others.

Pat relocated back to Chandler, OK in May of 2000 after the loss of her husband Reford where she took care of her mother & father for the better part of 16 years until they departed unto heaven. Pat leaves to cherish her memory and continue her legacy: David Burgess (wife Deanna-deceased) of Chandler, OK; Diane Johnson of Chandler, OK; Latasha Johnson of Chandler, OK; Reford Johnson of Bristow, OK; Lisa Hale of OKC, OK and Letitia Breath of Newalla, OK. Two brothers, Harold Burgess of Chandler, OK and David "Butch" Burgess (wife Jackie) of Memphis, TN and one sister, Carolyn Marsh of OKC, OK, 3 great grandchildren, several grandchildren, and a host of nieces & nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents Vera & Houston Burgess, husband Reford Johnson Sr., brother Michael Burgess, and daughter in law Deanna Burgess.
