Paul Ernest Weiss entered this life on April 27, 1944, to Ernest and Martha Weiss in Humboldt, Iowa. He entered into eternal rest on October 9, 2025, in Stroud, Oklahoma, surrounded by love and family. Paul is survived by his children: Rasana Costa and her husband Luis; Tom Weiss and his wife Midori; Jill Bashorun; and Joe Steele and his wife JaLinda. He is also survived by his dear cousin, Wayne and wife Diane Lehman, and his special friends, Jeff and Tristen Moxley. Paul's legacy continues through his seven beloved grandchildren-Jayden Chrisler and husband Cody, Joah, Alex, Jessi, Jullien, Alexander, and Aurelia-and his three great-grandchildren, KK, Joey, and Josh. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Martha Weiss, and his wife, Jonnee Weiss whose memory he carried with him always. Paul lived a life full of passion, purpose, and curiosity. He found joy in building model airplanes, cheering on his favorite football teams-the Broncos and the Chiefs-and watching the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved pheasant hunting, fishing, working with his hands, and cutting his own firewood. He was also a true movie enthusiast and had a deep appreciation for history. Paul cherished time spent with family, always taking an active interest in whatever his grandchildren were doing. Whether it was attending their events, sharing stories, or simply enjoying a good meal together, Paul's love and encouragement were constants in their lives. He shared a special bond with his loyal dog, Max, who was never far from his side. Those who knew Paul will remember him for his humor, fishing especially when it came to catching trout, love of learning, and the warmth he brought to every gathering. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
