Rebecca "Mimi" Joyce Nickell, 81, of Shawnee, OK passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by family on September 21, 2023 and is now with our Heavenly Father.

Born in 1942, daughter of Myra Kaskuske, Becky grew up in the Shawnee, OK area.  After attending Dale High School, she went on to Haskell Institute in Lawrence Kansas, before moving to Washington, D.C. where she then met her husband and started her family. Becky was an avid sports supporter and OKC Thunder fan.  She was a successful owner of a Nail Salon in Bradenton, FL and an avid reader.  She was a proud member of the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma and instilled her proud Kickapoo heritage into her children and grandchildren.

Rebecca was proceeded in death by her mother Myra, brothers: Walter Jr., Stanley, Leon, Truman and sister Vivian.  Surviving is her sister, Sue "Last Man Standing"; daughters Karen (Scott) and Denisa, sons Daren (April) and Ryan; seven grandchildren Kyle, Kalin, Kally, Jessica, Kaleb, Kara and Mason; two great grandchildren Kamdyn and Nolan.

Graveside service will be held at the Kaskuske Family Cemetery on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
