Richard Dean Crow was born on March 8, 1946, in Loveland, Colorado, and entered the gates of heaven surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 7, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Dorothy Crow, and his brothers, Jim Crow and Don Crow. Richard leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories. He is survived by his wife, Nan Crow of the home; daughters, Rhonda and husband Tracy Sherfield of Wolf, OK, and Tonda Bisbee of Ada, OK; sons, Justin and his wife Angela Crow of Waco, TX, and Brandon and wife Kelly Crow of Canyon, TX. He is also survived by his brother, Jack and wife Phyllis Crow of Frederick , CO; sisters, Anita Michael of Ninnekah, OK, and Phila Cole of Greeley, CO. His grandchildren—Paige Harjo, Robert Chapman, Lane Harjo, Skye Buck and fiancé Jordan Alberson, Cameron Crow, and Jonathon Crow—brought immense joy to his life, as did his three great-grandchildren: Grayson Stone, Krew Harjo, and Liam Alberson. Richard is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army for nearly 34 years, retiring as an E-9 Command Sergeant Major (CSM). Following his distinguished military career, Richard found fulfillment in spending time with his beloved wife and family. He loved his church and was a proud member of Colbert Baptist Church. Richard enjoyed fishing, golfing, working in his shop, gardening, and spending time outdoors. Some of his favorite moments were spent throwing a football with his grandchildren and remembering his late dogs, Shorty and Strange. Honoring his wishes, Richard will be cremated, with a viewing held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 3:00–6:00 PM, including closing remarks at 5:00 PM, at Colbert Baptist Church, located at 16094 County Road 510, Ada, OK. Although not required, those wishing to send flowers may have them delivered directly to Colbert Baptist Church.
