Robert "Bobby" Daniel Cook was born on May 16 , 1950 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Melvin and Velma Cook. Bobby entered into rest on November 26, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 70. Bobby lived in Meeker for 48 years before moving to Stroud in 2000. "Gpa/Dad is in Heaven driving his big green tractor". Bobby went by many names but his favorite was Gpa. Bobby loved spending time with his grandson and taking him on as many tractor rides as he could. Bobby was married to his high school sweetheart Cleta for 50 + wonderful years. Gpa was a hard working man and you could always catch him working on the farm, clearing trees with his dozer or excavator, or just riding in the pasture checking cows in his Kubota and doing what he loved to ensure everything and everyone was taken care of. Gpa's slogan was, "cows don't eat trees and grass doesn't grow under them". Bobby retired from TAFB after 37 years of service. Preceding Bobby in death are both his parents, Melvin and Velma Cook, four sisters, Dolores Jean Stinnett, Gola Faye Langley, Billie Deanna Cloud Davis, and Linda Dell Gallaway. As well as one brother Odell Cook. Surviving is his beloved wife, Cleta Cook of the home, one son, Brian Cook and spouse Sarah, and one grandson, Hunter Joe Cook all of Stroud, three brothers, Gene Cloud of Bristow, Raymond Cook of Tulsa, and Mel E Cook Jr. of Choctaw. Along with numerous special nephews and nieces and family and friends. The family is forever grateful for your continued prayers and support.
