"Robert "Bobby" Lane, age 81, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 31, 2021, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He entered this world on April 12, 1940, in Tecumseh, Oklahoma, born to Clarence Blanchard and Hattie Mae Lane.

Robert loved the Lord. He was a very vibrant, adventurous, generous, and loving man and a two-time cancer survivor. Bobby was a career over-the-road truck driver and took great pride in being on-time every time. He loved fishing and gospel music. He enjoyed playing the guitar, both alone and with his brothers. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Robert was preceded in death by both parents, his son, Timothy Lane; three grandchildren, Randy Sneed, Shameka "Shay" Neel, and Ayla Smith, and his sister and brother-in-law, Loretta and Gerald Watkins. Survivors include two daughters, Alida Lane and Julie Lane, son, Aaron Lane and wife Sarah Lane, and son Thurston Robert "TR" Lane. He is survived by one granddaughter, Leah Lane, and four great grandsons, Jaden Beister, Jace Kelly, Jace Diaz, and Trustin Smith.

He is also survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Robert Unfred; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry Lane, Jack and Laverne Lane, and Frank and Barbara Lane; and many nieces & nephews, other relatives and many friends."
