Ronald Given, 42, passed and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January the 16th, 2019. Ronald was born March 10th, 1976 in Lawton, Ok and currently resided in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Ronald was known to friends and family as "Happy" because of his larger than life smile and the joyful countenance he carried wherever he went . Ronald enjoyed volunteering at Shawnee Rescue Mission and enjoyed fellowshipping with friends at local Overcomer's Meetings. Ronald was also a proud graduate of the "Getting Ahead" program and enjoyed spending time at the CPN Wellness Center swimming, and exercising. Ronald also served as a firefighter for the Kiowa tribe- where he traveled across numerous states battling large wildfires. Ronald "Happy" was a beloved member of Living Word Church and was loved in our community by all. He never met a stranger and was always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He is survived by his Aunt Eva Kadapaddy, and numerous cousins in the Given family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Given. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 29th at Living Word Church, Pastor Clifton Briscoe will officiate. Burial will be at the Sac and Fox Cemetery in Stroud, Oklahoma. Viewing will be held at Living Word Church Monday January 28th from 9:00- 5:00.
