Shirley Jean "Granny" Robertson of Chandler Age 82, died on March 2, 2019 at her home in Yukon, OK. Shirley was born June 22, 1936 to Leon and Gladys Forgey in Kansas City, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, John Robertson. She is survived by her sister, Marilee Russell of Kansas City, MO; Son, Greg Latcham (Kristi) of Prescott, AZ; Daughter, Donna Latcham Ambler (Skip) of Oklahoma City, OK; and daughter, Kathleen Carney (Chuck) of Villa Rica, GA. Her surviving grandchildren include: Quinten Ambler of Oklahoma City, OK, Denise Swafford (Van) of Wellston, OK, Jeremy Latcham (Aileen) of Los Angeles, CA, Lindsey Wade (Eric) of Yukon, OK, and Mallory and Will Carney of Villa Rica, GA. Shirley also leaves behind 5 great grandchildren: Hannah, Kaylin, Josie, Conley and Isabella. Shirley was a member of the First Christian Church of Chandler. She enjoyed spending time with her family, from watching her boys play football, the girls play softball, attending band concerts, or watching her grandson Jeremy's latest movie at the theater. She was our biggest fan! Shirley loved the State of Oklahoma and participating in activities with the State Democratic party. Shirley worked in real estate, owned a Western Auto Store in Chandler with husband John, was a property manager in OKC, and worked retail in her later years. Her most loved job was the 11 years she worked in the State Auditor's Office, with the majority for Clifton Scott. Celebration of life will be held at The First Christian Church of Chandler, 614 Manvel Ave, Chandler, OK, on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 11:00 am. Graveside service will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, OK.
