Susan Marie Gray Robertson entered this world on December 21, 1944 in Clinton, Oklahoma. She was blessed to enter the kingdom of heaven on April 3, 2021 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Susan was the daughter of William Archie Gray and Fanny Lou Gladys Bias Gray. As a young child she lived in many states with her parents and settled her roots in Oklahoma. In 1959 she met Charles Clay Robertson, they were joined in marriage February 8, 1960 in Carthage, Missouri. To this union they added four daughters. Darlene Denise Robertson, Paula Louise Robertson Wilson, Beckey Chesteen Robertson Ledbetter, and Michelle Dione Robertson Bender. Susan was a homemaker while her children were young. She entered the workforce in Stillwater, Oklahoma as a cashier with Steve's Farm and Home. Then Susan and Charles created their own power construction company for some time. The family moved to Wewoka, Oklahoma where she began working for Humpty Grocery Store as a shift manager and ended her career with Nichols Grocery Store were she retired. Susan is proceeded in death by her husband Charles, daughters; Paula and Beckey, granddaughter, Brandi, both of her parents and all four of her sisters; Colleen, Donna, Norma, and Connie, and one brother, Andy. She leaves behind to cherish her memory and celebrate her life two daughters; Denise Robertson and significant other, Alan Williams, and Michelle Bender and spouse James Bender. Her grandchildren Robert Dixon, Jason Mills, Jennifer Mills, Scott Ledbetter, Chris Ledbetter, Derrick Bender, Joshua Bender, Steven Bender, and Miya Bender. 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. And a host of nephews, nieces, and other loved ones. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Robertson Residence on Thursday April 8, 2021 at 2pm. We ask that you bring a lawn chair for your comfort.
